Chances are that if you clicked on this, and you’re interested in spirituality vs religion, this message is for you!

Religion says, “Do.” Spirituality says, “Be.”

As I’ve started to open up to people in my life about my awakening, the very first thing that has been projected onto me from my atheist friends is, “Well, I don’t believe in God, so what you’re talking to me about is a pile of imaginary crap.”

From age 3 to 14, I attended Catholic school. Some of my teachers were nuns, we had daily religion class, and we attended Church every Friday morning. During my early development years, I was instructed and condemned by the incredibly false, stereotypical image and concept of God.

So I fucking get it.

As a Former Atheist

I’ve been an Atheist several times in my life from off and on spiritual conflict. I first declared to myself that I was an Atheist at age 7 when I learned that there were other options besides being Catholic. I grew up in a small town, where you were either Catholic, practiced some variation of Christianity, or you were Atheist. No one really knew about or discussed any other religion, monotheistic or polytheistic. I wanted to be Atheist, because I wanted to be rebellious, and the only concept of God I knew of was the stereotypical, super muscular, masculine God who wears a toga, holds a scroll and has light colored skin. I knew in my heart that wasn’t right.

I do think that Atheists get put in the bad corner and get labeled as the bad kids. With Atheism, there is a lot of truth behind rejecting a false concept of God that we’ve all been forced into. It’s a great way to rediscover the truth. We’ve been misled for many reasons, and deep down in our heart and our pineal gland, we know we’re being played.

We all know that this image of God that instantly pops into our head is incorrect. It doesn’t resonate with us. We know that if God exists as The Creator of All Things, God would certainly be greater than that image. So instead of discovering the correct image, we completely abandon the concept of God altogether without acknowledging that the God that you are rejecting is a false, stereotypical caricature.

Because “God” creates a poor caricature in our mind, some refer to God as “The Universe,” “The Source,” “The Creator,” etc. I personally like referring to God as “The Creator,” because I feel that all humans are creators and are compelled by a passion to create, because humans are Creation.

If you are struggling with your spirituality, you can rebuild your divine awareness by reevaluating the lies you’ve been told.

Through my awakening, I received messages that at their core, all religions are true, but all religions have been meddled with by those who want to play reindeer games with our consciousness. It’s all right though, because we are waking up! I highly recommend researching other religious beliefs if you feel unsatisfied by your current belief systems.

I wasn’t satisfied while I was an Atheist or Agnostic. It created more questions for me (that were all later answered). Some people don’t like it when I tell them that when you’re an Atheist, you believe in something. They get frustrated, and say, “No, I don’t believe in anything. I’m an Atheist.” But when you’re an Atheist, you believe in nothing. Nothing is still something. Nothing just can’t be perceived by our five senses. We know that there is an infinite spectrum of color, but we can only see a very, very limited amount of the spectrum. That doesn’t mean the other colors don’t exist. Just because we can’t perceive it, or we have fooled ourselves into believing we can’t perceive it, doesn’t mean nothing is there. Nothing is still something. Nothing is that which humans can’t perceive.

But that doesn’t mean it can never be perceived. During my dark days and time spent as an Atheist, I experienced so many messages and signs of divine power that I was consciously and unconsciously ignoring. I would see orbs, flashes of light, synchronicity through numbers and songs, and other paranormal experiences, and I thought it was all just my eyes and brain playing tricks on me. But that didn’t make sense, because I had 20/20 vision. And a deep part of myself knew that there was something else that needed to be discovered.

Once I discovered It, it was more of a rediscovering of Truth. It was something that was once there, was removed, and then restored.

Belief in The Creator is not a trick that’s being played on you.

During my dark days, I was very paranoid about conspiracy theories. I thought that all religions were fabricated and developed by the negative forces who created the program. This belief was semi-true, considering those who created the program have tampered with religions to confuse and instill darkness and fear into all of us. But ultimately, there is deep truth to these religions that the forces have been unable to cover up.

Religion says, “Do.” Spirituality says, “Be.”

Religions enforce and instruct you to believe in various institutions. Spirituality doesn’t ask anything of you. Spirituality is the remembering. The remembering and rediscovering of You. It’s enlightenment.

Remember who you really are, and do not worry. We are all rediscovering the Truth, all at our own pace and on our own path.
